iCAN/Keep Diapers

Description of our Project: Diapers are the 3rd largest items in landfills and a single diaper can use as much as 40 litres of water and a cup of crude oil to produce. Due to the adverse environmental impact of this, we have come up with a hybrid- diaper product which reduces adverse environmental impact whilst also increasing the ease of use for parents. This diaper utilises a novel design approach which encompasses an inner biodegradable layer and an outer reusable layer. This is currently state of the art and we aim to begin prototyping as soon as we get a green light.
