STIRLA

Mission

Strila aims to solve the dilemma of air conditioner(A/C) and the rise in CO2 that it is forecasted to bring by 2050. A/C units are expected to rise from 1.7 billion to 5.6 billion by 2050. The company aims to revolutionise the market by bringing in an air-conditioner that is 93% energy efficient, thus decreasing the direct or indirect production of CO2 that A/C contribute to this planet, making it safe again for future generations.

Strila air conditioners are powered by a heat engine that runs only on temperature difference, which is created by a solar concentrator. This engine is powerful enough to generate electricity for the grid, compensating for a/c usage at night until we can make it fully self sustainable. Stirla saves 93% on the monthly electricity bill while silently saving the planet.
